Acid Flux
symptoms generally include:
• Chest pain & heartburn: it is the common most indication
of this disorder causing unpleasant burning sensation in the
chest area and gradually reaching the throat and developing
sour taste in the mouth as if the stomach has come back to
the throat. Many people mistakenly report the symptons of
heart attacks as heartburns which ultimately lead to fatal
state.
• Sore throat: this is the next common symptom of this
disorder. Consult the doctor in case if the acid flux and
sore throat develops simultaneously.
• Regurgitation: the next common symptom is the spontaneous
effect of ejection of eaten foods from the stomach back to
the mouth. The condition develops when the stomach acid and
the contents go back all the way to the throat and mouth.
The patient gets bitter taste and painful, burning sensation
in his throat. Even smaller pieces of eaten foods are
reported to come back in the mouth under such conditions.
• Nausea: it is the less common symptom of acid flux
disorder.
• Dysphagia or odynophagia: it is the condition causing
difficulty in swallowing. Such symptoms generally develop
following persistent acid flux conditions.
• Trouble breathing: such condition develops due to the
material in the esophagus get sucked into the lungs causing
coughing, wheezing or pneumonia.
• Oral symptons: regurgitation condition may irritate gums,
lead to tooth decay creating the unpleasant taste and
causing excessive saliva in the mouth.
• Barrett’s Esophagus: Recurrent acid fluxes conditions may
lead to physical changes to the esophagus lining that are
called Barrett’s Esophagus. It is believed that nearly 10
percent of such cases end up in the esophagus cancer. Hence
people suffering from it should insist for regular medical
check ups and receive persistent and effective acid reflux
