Allergy is the
overstated immune response or reaction to factors that are
usually harmless to the body. However, symptoms of allergic
reactions differ according to its causes and area of the
body where it develops. There are three different categories
of allergic reactions such as mild allergic reactions,
moderate allergic reactions and sever allergic reactions
which is also known as Anaphylaxis. Each of them poises
different symptons that most commonly include:
• Runny nose
• Watery eyes, burning or itching eyes condition
• Redness of eyes or infections like conjunctivitis
• Swollen or inflamed eyes
• Itching sensations in the nose, mouth, throat, skin or any
of the body areas
• Panting or breathlessness
• Congestion
• Coughing
• Breathing trouble
• Hives or skin rashes
• Cramps in the stomach and abdominal area
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Headaches
• Mental perplexity
• Giddiness
• Nausea
• Varied extent of swelling making breathing or swallowing
difficult in some peculiar cases
Some other signs and tests that help diagnosing allergic
reactions:
The history of experienced symptoms is significant for
diagnosing any allergic conditions. This includes the
symptons differing as per time of the day or season or
exposure to pets and other possible allergens or diet
changes. Harsh reactions sometimes occur faster following
the exposures that include ingestion of nuts or just getting
stung.
Even some medications like aspirin, ampicillin or similar
drugs may also cause non-allergic reactions such as rashes
that widely bear resembling drug allergies which are not
actual allergies, in fact. |
