The probable
symptons of either types of bronchitis are generally
believed to initiate within 3 to 4 days after striking of
infection in the upper respiratory tract such as common
colds or influenza or flu. The common symptoms of the
bronchitis disorder may include:
• Cough is considered to be the significant symptom of
either type of bronchitis, initially it may be dry cold and
not generating any mucus but after some days it may bring up
mucus from the lungs called productive coughs which may be
clear, yellow or green. At times it may accompany small
smudges of blood.
• Mild fever or body temperatures marking below 101 deg F
may be reported, however, the higher temperature would
indicate pneumonia symptons
• The patient may complain of exhaustion feeling
• The burning and congestion kind of feeling besides
negligible pain in the chest beneath the breast bones are
experienced typically when breathing deeper or coughing
• The typical noise like whistling called wheezing is
reported when the bronchitis patient breaths more precisely
under state of physical hard working
• Huskiness of voice is often commonly noticed in the
patient who is suffering from acute or chronic bronchitis
• Painful coughing with throat pain
• Pain in the chest while coughing
• Often coughing up pus in sputum
• Overall unwell or sickness like condition
• Consistent coughing during cold weathers but no coughs
during summers
• Extreme airway mucus secretion
• Panting or short of breathing
• Inflammation or swelling of ankles, feet and legs
• Lips and nails turning bluish violet due to diminishing
levels of oxygen |
