Flu is the abbreviated word for influenza disorder. To know the symptoms of this ailment, it is easy to remember FACTS which actually goes like this: Fever – Aches – Chills – Tiredness – Sudden symptons. All these are considered as the basic symptoms of influenza disorder. However, flu symptons could be mild to severe and often it turns acute from mild condition without specific significance. So it is ideal to check the body temperatures at regular intervals and consult the doctor immediately. The common symptoms of influenza or flu include:

• Generally higher body temperatures / fever
• Mild to unbearable headaches
• Noticeable pains in the muscles
• Chills
• Feeling of excessive exhaustion or fatigue
• Dry coughing especially during nights
• Runny nose especially in case of children
• Various symptons of stomach that usually include nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea which are more commonly found in children than adult patients
